approached Kunming around 7am.. temperature at 15 degree celsius.. Kunming is 2,000 meters above sea level, which is equivalent to the height of the peak of Genting Highlands.. thus it’s cooling all year round in Kunming.. there is four seasons but their highest temperature never exceed 29 degree celsius.. cool!! now it’s Spring in Kunming and the weather is rather cooling with some rain till August..

our first night in 4 star Wei Long Hotel.. soya bean drink in bubble tea sealed cups at RMB1 (S$0.20) and you-tiao at RMB0.50 (S$0.10).. we came to change fortune (zuan-yun) at this temple.. hope it helps, turned 3 rounds clockwise, 3 round anti-clockwise.. *giddy* camel ride.. RMB1 per stick of corn, buy 10 get 2 free.. 12 at RMB10 (S$2.00).. the Emperors of China.. some China History lessons going on.. haha..  12kg heavy weapons.. used to kill people but why is the weapon blunt? pay RMB10 (S$2.00) to be Emperor for awhile.. hehe.. too cold, we got ourselves thick jacket at RMB75 (S$15.00)..  shopping time.. cold!!  at jing-ma (golden horse) gate.. had famous guo-qiao-mi-xian (cross bridge noodle).. guo-qiao-mi-xian at only RMB8 (S$1.60).. rainy night, cold and wet.. the locals love super spicy and salty BBQ food with beer.. young girls working hard to earn a living..

RMB200 (S$40.00) for full journey through the caves, RMB50 (S$10.00) for the last 300 steps through the caves.. enjoying the scenery by walking.. scary cable car experience.. visiting the Shi Lin (Stone Forest).. call their ladies “Ah-shi-ma” not “Xiao-jie“.. to them xiao-jie are prostitutes.. second night in 3/4 star Shi Lin Hotel.. they have zhuang-yang-cai (vegetables good for men).. all the men ate it, face turned red and hot.. effective??!! the pancake is called pa-pa.. yummy.. my first experience.. doorless toilet.. bo-bian, too urgent.. argh!!the locals love mushrooms.. to them mushrooms are very valuable, thus expensive, not all can enjoy mushrooms, only rich families can afford..

but fantastic weather there made everyone in good mood.. climbing mountains and caves.. shopping around in the flea market.. enjoying the food they have.. listening to China History from our local tour guide.. enjoyed the Hotsprings.. finally i get to try what’s hotspring.. haha.. enjoyable trip..
