Chinese New Year

年除夕 / 年三十
went shopping with daddy, mummy and sis the day before nian-san-shi.. purchased lots of yummy food and a new steamboat with BBQ capabilities.. in the middle of the night, went supermaketing with mummy, some last minute shopping for soft drinks and vegetables.. on nian-chu-xi, we started our reunion meal in the afternoon, started steamboating and BBQ-ing mushrooms, abalone, sea-cucumber, yu-piao, salmon, beef, pork, prawnings, topshell, ba-yi, hakka yong-tau-fu, lots of vegetables and many more..

大年初一
as usual, visting relatives’ house since noon till late night.. this year, we reach popo house earlier than past years and am so glad to see almost near full attendance this year, so 难得.. the living room’s tv burst the previous day, thus we have no boring tv programmes to watch this year, so the youngsters started to play dai-di, lost a couple of bucks, happily.. this year, gave angbaos to gongong, popo, ganma, daddy, mummy and sis, love to see their smiles.. to my surprise, my fifty plus sixty q-may (舅母/舅妈 in hakka) has a facebook account..

大年初二
my dear cousin and sis craved for mahjong session, thus played alittle and sis is the big winner.. again i lost but happily, hehe.. mummy craved for pizza, thus orders Pizza Hut’s Prosperity Meal, yum yum.. relatives and kel started coming over to our house in the afternoon, again wedding bells, attending my cousin’s wedding this coming October.. as usual, nice yummy hakka dinner over at auntie’s house..

大年初三
it’s a rest day for me and daddy, so my breakfast is daddy’s homecook yummy 意大利面, yum yum.. nothing better to do, so watched The Wedding Game (大喜事), starring Christopher Lee, Fann Wong, 黑人陈建州, 黎明, 朱咪咪 and many more.. a romantic comedy that touches your heart too.. think they visited the Toy Museum and some others, am going to visit all 42 museums in Singapore, sometime, somehow..

Phuture

for the first time we paid for cover charge after so long since we all owned a Citibank card.. we didn’t know that night was NUS Bash at Zouk, if not, we would have chosen somewhere else..

it’s our girls’ nights out again, like always, camwhoring.. and we actually saw Chao Guo Hui outside Zouk and Darren Chen Shi Wei inside Phuture, hrm.. liked the gathering, we discussed about our trips and what we’re going to wear for December’s wedding, as we’re going to be 姐妹团, hehe.. drink, drank, no drunk..

Phuture isn’t like before, the music and the crowd, so different.. packed like sardines, people puke and polluting the dance floor.. dislike those nasty men and those super duper rude bouncers, whom yell and flash those blinding flash lights continuously.. in the end, we decided to leave, angrily.. argh!! thus, we decided to visit Rebel on out next girls’ nights out instead..

50 questions within 10 mins

passed my FTT (Final Theory Test) after attending four e-trials to try all 10 sets of trial questions (that’s 500 questions in total).. completed my 50 questions test within 10 minutes (it’s a 50 mins test) and am the first to leave the classroom.. *so proud of it* haha.. applied my PDL (Provisional Driving License) and booked my TP (driving test), which is in April.. released some of my eighteen driving lessons in February, booked lessons for March and preparing for practice lessons in April..

it’s party time with my dearies, flaming lambo here i come!!

Wu Chin Leong

collected this year’s bak-gua, once again, it’s from Wu Chin Leong at SGD37/kg.. didn’t want to carry 4kg of bak-gua all by myself, so i dragged junhui 表哥 to come along and we can have dinner together too.. so in the end, all 8kg of bak-gua, he carry all the way, haha, so happy.. japanese cuisine lovers, xiaoyi, junhui and i had Ichiban Sakae Sushi after collecting bak-gua, so shiok..

have been very into CNY mood, no mood to work but still have to work, completing some very troublesome work stuff.. yet still enjoying my last working week before enjoying my long CNY break, audrey treat us Ichiban Sushi set lunch, the serving is huge and salmon simply taste so yummy no matter its served raw, smoked or cooked.. hohoho..

am back in school again, started my life as a student, whom have to sit for exams.. attended class, i was so lost and i don’t even have ten cents to visit the toilet, the smallest change i have is ten dollars, so paisei.. but luckily, the uncle let me in without receiving that ten cents from me, haha.. had my e-trial, managed to complete four sets of questions within one session, two pass two fail, think that’s a good start without even studied for it, haha..

think am really a garang-guni, as i’ll keep lots of necessary and unnecessary things from very long ago till now, haha.. good thing is when friends need my poly notes, i still have them in good condition.. boontheng borrowed my FM and law notes for his NUS studies for his current semester, hope those notes helps, haha..

yes, CNY is coming real soon and i’ve packed my ang-baos for daddy, mummy, gonggong, popo and sis.. as usual, CNY is the time my 口袋大出血, haha, but happily..

it’s unbelievable to see myself taking out SGD50 to buy toto 10 million together with my colleagues.. but i believe i ahve to 入乡随俗, so i’ve got a SGD10 lucky pack too, two Big Sweep, one 4D, one toto..  gosh, can’t believe myself is spending so much on something i never will do, haha.. HUAT AH!!

finally my alivenotdead.com cap arrive, all the way from Hong Kong.. everyone says that am insane, paying HKD295 (SGD59) for this cap.. hrm, impulse purchase? more or less i think, haha, but i like it..

home cook pasta

for the past weeks, my colleagues and i went out for Pizza Hut’s Prosperous Pizza Delight during one of our lunch break, the eight of us had two large Prosperous Pizzas, many yummy drumlets, some miscellaneous appetizers and fruity mocktails..

our huat huat shannon and heng tio 4D, so they blanjah us yummy Nasi Ayam Quarter and Bo-Bo-Cha-Cha dessert during lunch break.. the portion is huge for a chicken rice and the price is SGD5.50 only..

hrm, again, our boss flew to Indonesia to overlook our business in Indonesia, so we have more freedom from lunchtime till over the weekend.. we decided to lunch out at Aijisen Ramen, enjoying the set lunch at only SGD 10.90 each.. but whenever we lunch out at a restaurant, it’s a treat from our dear manager, which makes me feel that am so 幸福 and thus my weight is going up and up once again, haha..

oh ya, metup with my dearie emma for dinner and some shopping at Queensway too but we drifted away from our main aim, which is to get a pair of running shoes each.. we ended up shopping for clothes and accessories, by the time we seriously look into running shoes, the shops started to close for the day.. ^-^”

had a lazy weekend, doing nothing meaningful but having Mcdonald’s breakfast with my colleagues and also nice home cook lunch by kel, his Salmon Mushroom Pasta.. with my digital camera, nice clear pasta was shot with blurry background by the professional.. a photo from his turkey trip, a waterfall shot by himself with his SLR..
